🙁 I hope someone out there can help me locate a control button for my old reliable Thorn EMI Tricity Sovereign Cooker Model 4638 Serial No SIH 118600307. There are 2 rows of 4 small plastic buttons, a bit like very small golf tees, under the digital display screen, one of which I managed to snap off when cleaning the hob. These buttons control various functions on each of the ovens. I have broken the temperature control button for the top oven. I fear all spares for this model may now be unobtainable due to the age of the cooker – about 18 years old. Does anyone have one of these little gismos looking for a home or know where I could find one? Anyone? Please.

Type 4638 into the search facility on the forums and you’ll realise what you’re up against. This model pops up fairly regularly, beyond what members are able to exchange between themselves there is little to be found for these models.

Is that “THE BIT” that’s still available then? I thought everything was either pattern or obsolete!
