Participantnew to the business, basicaly we have just opened a shop retailing in white goods based in a small village called Hathersage which is in Yorkshire, currently we just deal in raw appliances repairing then selling, but it seems like hard work for little money 🙁
So wanted to know of any suppliers for Graded/ Ex-Catalogue etc, and see if thats more profitable! willing to buy in large or small quantities depending on price!
Been through some of the previous posts and heard of D.A.D and D.A.R.T so far. But is there any others that anybody knows of?
thanks in advance for any help/suggestions guys! and remember you were all beginners in this game once 😆

Hi qhussai33
Welcome to UKW and the forums  .
The only other one I know of is,Thompsons in Worcester 01905 763376 who specialise in returns and graded stock.
Get the reps in from DART and DAD they always have monthly specials and deals, and pick up the odd bargain 😉 .HTH

We use Inmans, they have good special offers too and unlike some of the others they seem to stock most of whats in the catalogue! Tel 0114 254 2400. Hope this helps. Where do you get your raw appliances from?

I don’t know if this is a general thing around the country but our local auction house used to buy pallet loads of assorted catalogue returns goods. There were always some whitegoods amongst the stuff and I was sometimes called to repair appliances so they could sell them on. I’ve no doubt that if I had wanted to take all the appliances off their hands and repair/sell them myself the auction house could have concentrated on the furniture etc that is easier for them to deal with.
