I need a 6224761 solarglo element, cannot believe the list price, £70.00 plus vat. 😯 )
Masterpart is coming up NLA, eventually suggesting a ceramic alternative.
Is the 6224761 still available.

The alternative Part No. 6203423 which Masterpart give , I`ve doubled check with a different supplier and is the correct alternative so I would say at £19.99 + vat to go for it :D.

Hi Bryan, that alternative is definately listed as a ceramic element, not a fast acting solarglo. This customer does want the correct element. I suspect that Masterpart does not want to stock it. It is still listed on the latest version of Partfinder, new this week, so I guess I will have to source it from somewhere other than MP.

Bryan’s right, they are both the same part, Creda only supply Fastglo elements now for all ceramic replacements 😀

Element just arrived, original Hotpoint/Creda label is a 6203423. This has been inked out and changed to 6224761 and I have been invoiced accordingly 👿 .
Needless to say one annoyed phone call later and I have been promised a refund.
