    Hi there.
Anyone help me with a rather old but faithful dishwasher.
It washes dishes with no problems, so what am I doing sending this you might ask.
When the dishwasher has finished I have to turn the water off otherwise it seems to have a slow leak that eventually floods out the door. If I turn the water off when it has finished it seems to be fine.

There always seems to be rather a lot of water at the bottom of the washer when it has finished. What’s going on?

    Any suggstions
    Thanks in anticipation.

The water inlet/safety valve is at fault and not shutting off correctly. Replacement via emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk or click the link below for an expert to replace it for you 🙂

    Thanks for replying

I’ve just checked out the part cost. £90 seems a lot for such an old washer. Is there something I can do to repair the inlet/safety valve. Our water is quite rich in iron at times, what about cleaning it?

    What do you think?
