Share your codes with us, we can help.
You can’t have a manual unless you mug an F+P engineer.

Sorry – your post said “showing error codes”.
With the power off, press “Wash Temp Down” and then press “Power”. After the two “beeps”, press “Spin” buttons until “Hold” and “Slow SPin” lights are lit. The wash programme board lights will now show a pattern of lights. These represent a binary code – if you will read them from left to right where “on” = 1 and “off” = 0 we can figure it out.

Thankyou Penguin
The error code is 100000111 (If i done it correct)April 8, 2006 at 6:34 pm #172193Penguin45
ParticipantRe: F & P Smartdrive 708
There’s only 8 lights on the display board…. Sorry, but that code doesn’t work. Have another go, please.
Alternatively, tell us what the machine is actually up to and maybe we can figure it out that way.

ParticipantRe: F & P Smartdrive 708
OK, we can do something with that one….
Rotor position sensor fault. This can be caused by (normally) dodgy/corroded wiring. The sensors themselves can be faulty, worst case is the motor controlloer board, although this is unusual.

Thanks,
I have had a look the sensor apears to be loose and i found several
peices of plastic at the bottom of the machine they are white, and by feel
seem to have broken from the perimeter of the the rotor.
How do i remove the rotor to have a better look?
In addition to what have told you before the machine stopped it was
making a loud thump when agitating (the thump accurred when it was changing direction)April 11, 2006 at 11:12 pm #172197Penguin45
ParticipantRe: F & P Smartdrive 708
It sounds like the rotor is loose on the shaft and is hitting something. Access is by removing the large centre nut and easing the rotor away – store in a large poly bag immediately as every bit of metal within 50 yards will try and stick to it.
The sensor should not be loose BTW.
You’ll have to carry out a thorough inspection for the damaged plastic pieces to see where they may have come from.
Can’t tell you much more really,

Thanks Penguin
The stator has many fractures from inner to almost the outer
The raised fingers near the clamp plate have all been sheared off.I can’t see how this happened.
Was it the flex in the stator due to the cracks, or have i overlooked something?April 14, 2006 at 9:20 am #172201Penguin45
ParticipantRe: F & P Smartdrive 708
Vibration presumably.
Decision time now – replacement stator and sensor are going to be expensive (can’t help you there, being in England). P/nos are:
426181P – Stator kit
425221P – Rotor position sensorGood luck with it,
