ParticipantHi
I have a Whirlpool ADG332 dishwasher which has developed a fault. I suspect that I need to replace one of the two controller boards, but having spent a lot of time searching the web, I have been unable to source either board. Details of the boards are as follows:
barcode 4619 724 06501
made in Italy by BITRONbarcode 4619 724 07181
made in Hungary by FLEXTRONICSAre these parts still available? Where can I buy them? How much are they?
Thanks in advance

I think the best thing to do is start at the beginning, what is the fault that leads you to suspect the boards. Several trade members are well qualified to advise on Whirlpool machines and may be able to confirm your diagnosis or offer alternative advice.

The 4619 numbers on the PCB don’t help unfortunately, there are also three versions of this model with different control PCB’s.
If you can post up the 8542……… number from the rating plate which is around the door aperture, I can check the correct part numbers and prices for you.
The PCB at the bottom below the door is the main control, the one inside the door is the “user” board and has no real control as such.
Also, are you getting any error codes (lights pulsing/flashing in sequence) as it may not be a PCB fault at all ? 😀
Power off when panels are removed :zap:

Thanks Dave
The number on the rating plate on the door is: 8542 332 15510.
The machine doesn’t appear to respond to any control inputs at all. No lights/LEDs illuminate when the programme selector is turned from OFF to one of the three programme modes or when the POWER pushbutton is pressed.
Did get a local engineer to look at it and he too suspected one of the PCBs but wasn’t sure which. I think you’re right, that it’s more likely to be the main control board at the bottom.
Can’t see any other lights/LEDs providing error codes.
Have checked power from mains/fuses etc. Power appears to be getting to the main control PCB via the “user” board when the programme selector knob is rotated, but nothing happens.
Cheers

Re: Whirlpool ADG332 (rating plate no: 8542 332 15510)
I have now fitted the Main control PCB – 481221478477 which you kindly supplied. This has improved the situation:
Programme selector LEDs now illuminate when the programme selector is turned from OFF to one of the three programme modes. When the POWER pushbutton is pressed, the programme initiates (POWER LED illuminates and drain pump runs for ~20 secs) then the POWER LED flashes an error code(?) 6 flashes repeated.
Can you offer any further advice?
Thanks again
