    Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to start, before calling out someone to look at it.

    The dial clicks round until it attempts to fill with water, then stops and nothing happens. If I manually open the door and put water in the bottom, then click the dial on manually, it will operate until it next needs to fill.

    Any suggestions?

    Check the obvious – water supply on, fill hose not kinked/trapped. If all OK, you most likely have an inlet valve failure.

    Power off if investigating further.
