    Hi,

    1st post..

    My nan is looking for a new washing machine. Her 15 yo candy has bitten the dust. She has circa 250 gbp to spend. The problem is that the location that her old one is in is only 510mm deep. And it can’t be any deeper as there is a drawer which opens at right angles over the face of the machine so even controls on the right (when facing) are a bit tight.

    I can’t find anything that depth or less. The only ones i’ve found close are 525mm and that’s too big.

    Can anyone help in suggesting one ? I don’t really want a smelly nan 😆

    Bosch and Zanussi both do “shallow” appliances – they will not fall into your budget though. From memory they are both around the £400 mark.

    Bosch WFC2467GB is only 40cm deep, 4.5kg load, large door opening, 1200 spin and comes with a two year guarantee. Price range £320-£370.

    thanks for taking the time guys.

    It certainly looks like we’ll need to increase the budget somewhat so lets look with a ceiling of 350.

    I also found a Candy Aqua1000T but it’s only a 3.5kg load. (but 322 gbp + free dely)

    Where was the Bosch at 320 gbp ?

    That would be suitable if delivery was free.

    Go with the Bosch much better quality product, will last longer too 😀 .

    thanks for that.

    I’ve looked at the supplier site and it says 349 gbp however i’ve emailed them to check.

    I’ll let you know how i get on.
