This is the first time I have used this site and I shall be grateful if someone can Help. Our dishwasher has developed a fault that the users handbook does not appear to give any clue what it is.
The dishwasher was loaded as usual and the Rapid Economic fast cycle was selected. On returning to the machine the far left LED (Soak) was on and flashing and there was a small water leak on the floor. NB. On a successful wash the far right LED would be found flashing. On opening the door we found a dis-integrated cardboard label from an icecream tub in the filter. The filter has been cleaned out and the machine reset but the fault remains. I suspect the machine could be somehow blocked but there does not appear to be an obvious method of strip-down to investigate the fault. Any help on the fault, stripdown and availability of service manual will be gratefully accepted.

    Thanks

Neon one flashing suggests the base is flooded. May be due to the cardboard. UNPLUG and pull the machine out, then surround it with some towels and tilt it backwards or to one side. You will more than likely get water running out of the machine. If it then works you will need to monitor it for a few days. If the fault returns you may have an internal leak that will need investigating, with the plug removed of course.

Chances of getting a service manual are virtually nil.
