    Hi guys have a problem with ariston A1235 door glass .Customer says she put it on a 40 wash then went up stairs to put kids to bed, then heard loud smashing noise. She thought some one had smashed her window.On inspection the glass door had blown all over the utilty room its lucky one of her kids were not in there.The clothes were ok ie not burnt or boiled up but apparently the glass was quite hot,any ideas what could have caused this. ❓

    Belt buckle/trainers in the wash perhaps ?

    Overloading also may be the cause (friction on the glass causing the heat) 🙂

    It was loaded with just clothes and wasnt overloaded.When the glass goes on the washing machine is it suppose to shatter into litle bits because this one didnt large jagged bits. Its like the glass has exploded very strange, also the machine is only 20 months old.

    Had glass shatter on a brand new (one week old) hoover washer dryer. The glass imploded jaggered bits and tiny bits, had to uplift and deliver replacement, that ones been ok. Don’t know why it happened, machine was in an out-house. 😥
