    Hi

    My SMEG dishwasher will not start!

    The led is on, so i assume there is no problem with the power.

    I have had no problems with it until today. When I turned it on it made a strange noise, as if the motor was trying to turn, then nothing! Are there any tests I can do before having to call out an engineer ?

    You could try resetting the PCB, if you search:

    For Smeg and/or Diplomat and “reset” you could try that, if not it’s time for an engineer to be honest. Check the repairs@ link below 🙂
