This is the first machine of this make that I’ve seen so I’m struggling a bit.
The door is not locking as it is not getting live to pin 3 (L) on the interlock. I could not see any dry joints etc on the module and the motor brushes are OK. There is no On / Off switch but when the programme dial is at the stop position the machine makes a bleeping noise. There is a door locked LED that flashes when the door is open but goes out when the door is closed. There is also a padlock symbol which glows when on a programme but flashes when on stop. Is this some kind of childproof lock that might have been activated by mistake?

Pull the main module (in the pastic case at the top) out, bet you £20 its blown underneath. Usual cause is the comfort syphon cap is blocked and it leaks down onto the interlock and blows the lot. Module is about £80 off the top of my head while the door lock is £42. good machine though often worhwhile spending the dosh.
Yes there is a child lock, 2 of the buttons should be marked with the same padlock symbol, holing these for a few secs releases and starts the lock.

Thanks. I replied earlier but my post has gone walkies for some reason. As I said, I did get the module out of the box to have a look but there was no visible damage. I will try to suss out these child lock buttons.

It was the child lock. Pressed in the 2 buttons as described and that unlocked it. Customer had just moved the machine so I suppose she may have been pressing on those buttons as she moved it. 🙂
