We have recently moved into a new house that came with a dishwasher (whirlpool ADG 710). When the dishwasher was put on the water didnt heat up and the cycle got stuck and so lasted until we eventually moved it on. We have tested the element and it works fine. We have been advised it could be the thermostat or the cut off switch. Any other suggestions?

I’m trying to get hold of a thermostat but cant find one anywhere? I dont know how much one will cost so dont know if its worth just buying a new washer?

Can anybody advise what the cut off switch might look like or does anybody have a drawing of where it is located?

    Thank you. 😀

The manual reset thermostat has tripped I expect, normally caused by blocked spray arms or poor water circulation, look for a red button 😉

    Power off when checking :zap:

    Dave.
