Condenser not drying ?

Hi we have a Miele T230C condenser tumble dryer, and the last few days it has`nt been drying. it could be due to us putting a plastic sheet in the drum which melted and stuck to the rear, we have cleaned it all off and it worked for a few uses, now no heat.
i`m wondering if it has a cut out switch on it that maybe can be re-set.
its about 18mths old so out of warranty.
