    Hi,

I’ve just been out to an AEG d/w 50750 PNC 911 234 548 02. The customer says its not been cleaning the pots and they come out wet at the end of a cycle. From the first look at it i found the relay at the front right hand side of the machine to have a burnt contact. The wires for this go diectly to the pcb.
Its seems to me that the machine is not heating. I only put it on a quick wash prog for about 10 minutes, dispensor opened but no heat. No error codes from what i’ve been told but the lady had been messing with the switches before i got there.
Does anybody have any idea whether this relay controls the heater. I know the Whirlpool dishwasher are controled this way.

Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

ps The lady said that for a few days before the problem occured it was making a strange noise. She described it as being like a clockwork toy noise when its been wound up and was unwinding. Was wondering if this noise could have been the noise of the chattering relay?

    Cheers

    Nick

Cheers for that Dave. That will come in very handy. I’ll have a good look through it later tonight.

    Thanks again

    Nick
