    Hi

Im saving for a new Washing Machine after my old Indesit W855 finally given up after must be 15 years!!

Im in a flat, and just wondering if anyone out there knows of any makes and models that are relatively quiet and less vibrating? So its less noise to downstairs.

My budget betime June when ill be able to get one will be around £200.

    thanks
    Shirl

Unfortunately with that limited budget you will be buying a poor quality machine whatever make you buy, the reliabilty will be more of a problem than the noise, and in a very short time as well. 😥 Try to budget for nearer £300 at the least and you will have a better chance of buying a decent machine.

In all honesty, I (and probably the great majority of the other engineers on this site) would be hard pressed to recommend any autowasher for anything, let alone quietness at that price mark.

The old adage that you get what you pay for has never been more true, especially with regard to appliances.

Stick another £100 on your budget and you’ll get something decent. If you are hoping for a 15 year service from the new one, you’ll have to buy a Miele – generally £600 plus.

    HTH,
