Mid-cycle thru a wash 3 ‘slapping noises’ were heard and the m/c stopped and emitted beeps. Error code shows 4 flashes. After resetting, if the door is shut again (without the start button being pushed), the m/c trys to start again until the fault re-occurs. Any help would be appreciated.

It means it’s not draining. From the description of the sound an object may have got in to the pump and jammed it or possibly the pump has failed.

Power off if investigating :zap: or if you’re unsure, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Dave,
Thanks for the reply – I assume you’re talking about the drain pump. If so, can you tell me how to get to it to check it out.
    Thanks

Sorry, for legal reasons we are unable to tell you exactly how to repair, only give general guidance. The pump will be found behind the plinth but please follow my advice above and ask an engineer to attend and check for you if you are at all unsure on how to proceed 🙂
