this dishwasher has the 5th light flashing continuesly, will not do anything, it surges the drain pump to drain approx every 30sec’s. i’ve tried to reset the prog, by holding the prog button in, switching the m/c on/off at wall, and the on/off button etc, it will not reset itself. flood switch when manually operated will drain the m/c, (no flooding), and will continue to do so till the cows come home, will not advance, the air chambers are clear, and i have checked the p/switch, clear. i have set the pressure switch to a full level, now’t happens, the 5th light(heavy pot/pans) still flashes. have looked down the known error codes, can’t see anything. any ideas out there that can help me, or is it definatly the pcb.
    thanks TELL..

Lamp 5 flashing with no others lit isn’t a fault code so it points to the PCB or possibly the dispensor solenoid.

You could try resetting it (search for Diplomat and Smeg in the public dishwasher forums).

The PCB is part number 696290673 at £108.99 ex VAT list from MFI or Smeg.

I’ve deleted the other post about the price etc as I’ve answered it here for you 😀

    Dave.
