I have a Dyson DC01 that keeps getting a blockage in the plate that covers the beater bar – I have changed the belt works fairly well for a few minutes till blocks again. Also the wand does not suck very well even though the flaps at botton of wand are clear.
Does anyone have any ideas?

😯 That’s sounds like the problem is the surface your vacuuming!
The DC01’s get blocked up, around the motor alot. If you can’t remove the blockage through those little flaps, then the motor casing needs to be split 😕
And of course, there’s the filters that can cause poor suction. The vertical filter (down the side) is the important one.
Unplug the machine before doing any work please.
