hi,
iv just installed a samsung RS21DLMR (mirror finished side by side fridge freezer) and the water dispenser is working fine and water pressure is fine but the ice tray is not filling up and so no ice is being dispenced. iv pressed the test button and nothing happens. just wondering if anyone could help.

did you have to remove the doors to get the appliance into your house ?
If so it may well be that the connections havent been refitted correctly,other than that its an engineer visit really as its a new one.

How long has the appliance been running?
They won’t start making ice until they have reached a certain temperature in the freezer.Greg

you need to press and hold down the test button for min 2 sec max 10 secs it should start the ice tray turning if it doesnt its either not connected faulty ice maker or pcb all=contact samsung if it does turn and when it returns water doesnt dispense it could be faulty water valve or faulty pcb all = contact samsung its under guarentee i would imagine
test procedure work irrespective of cabinet temperature
