    Hi all, I am new to the UK and available brands. I have inherited a Bernstein DW and am not sure of it’s operation. I live in a hardwater area (Portsmouth) and have been told I need some Dishwasher salt to counteract the lime scale. I am unsure as to where this salt is to be loaded and am without the manual for the machine. Can anyone help?…Thanks in advance 😉

    There should be a large screw cap in the floor of the machine. Remove, fill with dishwasher salt (NOT household salt) and close up. Mop up any split salt and away you go.
