Hi all, i’ve got an indesit widl 126s washer/dryer which has worked fine until today.

I had to turn the electric mains power off to do a bit of electric work in the house.
The washing machine was NOT being used when i turned off the power, but it was plugged in.
After turning the mains power back on i went to do a load of washing but it’s like a disco, lights flashing all over the place!

The red doorlock light is flashing fast and the delay timer and spin speed lights are flashing in time together, but slower than the doorlock light.
The reset button does nothing and i’ve tried unplugging the machine for a while but the lights are still going.

    Thanks in advance.

Bit of head scratching been going on with this one – the lights don’t appear to indicate any known code, so it is entirely possible that the electronic board has gone bonkers.

We think you’ve got a 5 year parts warranty on the machine (you’ll have to check your paperwork), so a call from Indesit may well be your best bet due to the expense of these computer boards.

    Thanks for that info.

I’m leaving it unplugged now overnight and hoping that it might reset itself, but i don’t hold out much hope.

    I’ll update tomorrow.

    Cheers again.
