I have just bought a house with a built in Teba Oven, the problem being that the grill and top part of the oven is fine but when i select the bottom half of the oven orfull oven it shorts the electrics.
    Could it be the element?
    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks

    Carl

Certainly could be – post up the model numbers and we’ll be able to offer some more precise advice.

In the meantime, power off if investigating.

    Hi Cat

It will be most likely the failure of the base element, there is 2 different base elements used on Teba models so if you can let me know which model i will be able to supply .

    Hi Bryan & Penguin,

    Thanks for the feed back.

Looked for the model and its a Teba SOS60,
    not a fan oven.
So it is likely to be the element?

Obviously i don’t really wanna buy one if its something else.

    hi cat

the correct model number will be on a silver bar code label on the top of the appliance, you will need remove the 4 screws that should be holding the oven in its unit then pull it forward by 6 – 10 ” and the label will be there. it should be there

FOUND SOME NUMBERS ON THE COOKER:

    SOS60WH (TFA10-31Y)

    Pro Nr.: TFA10GBR31

    IS THIS ANY GOOD?
