I have a smartdrive 700 and it has recently developed the fault of turning off the water pump before the machine has finish emptying or, if restarted after some time with the bowl almost empty, turning off during the spinning.

I have turned on the machine with the wash-temp-down / power button and after a few seconds the leds come up in order 00100001, read left to right, with 1 meaning the led was lit. I have searched for this code unsuccessfully in the forums.

At a guess could it mean the pump is overheating, or maybe voltage leak? The pump is pretty worn by the sounds but still pumps water very well when its running

I cant help with the model number anymore as its scratched of the back, and there is no tech manual inside.

Last time I had an error with a pump connection the tech came out and charged me aus$70 just to read the error code. THis is BS.

Can someone help me here. The only other thing I know about the machine is it was the very first smartdrive model here in AUS.

    Thankyou in advance

The code you have quoted relates to a fault with the water valves……. These should read 15ohms when metered.

If your drain pump is worn it may well be running hot – there is a safety cut-out fitted to it which will shut it down if it gets too hot. If having a feel, be advised that there is a live supply to the pump at all times, so pull the plug first!
