    I reluctantly went to have a look at this machine this morning. I don’t normally go anywhere near this ‘stuff’ 😥 but it was as a favour.

    Select any programme and switch on, door locks then nothing, no fill, pump, or motor action. No obvious physical faults ( other than the awful build quality) .

    Anything known or obvious that could cause this?

    Classic board fault Jim – door lock is a timer function. EMW do excellent rebuilt ones – tell them the 546 number and you’ll get it tomorrow.

    Thanks Chris, I will inform the local estate agent, this machine is in rented property so I will need an OK.

    Usually you can get away with changing the 2 large white resistors on the board. (Available from many electronic outlets). I think electrue sell them. Or just take them off another board. Much cheaper than a new or recon board.
