LG WM11150FB Ser.no. 304KW00461 P.no. 3850ER3053F
Machine leaks from the soap drawer and runs down the left side of the front panel. Soap drawer spotless, outer box spotless, jets all clean.
When the drawer is shut, the leak starts. With the drawer open slightly, no leak. This would normally suggest the jets are blocked or the water pressure is too high and spraying water over the front of the drawer. I have noticed the top of the outer box is slightly deformed.
Are there any issues with these soap drawers leaking? Connections show the original part is obsolete and superceded by 5031688294875.

the soap drawer will need to be replaced,there has been for the last 7 or so years been a problem with the dispensors normally lasting approx 8 months before leaking again,LG do know there is a problem but just ignore it and have done nothing about it.
Once the soap dispensor is changed then it will cure it for a while,the drawer isnt the problem

Thanks, I’ve ordered a new dispenser (the outer bit in tech talk). Don’t see a lot of LG washers to be familiar with their problems. Cheers!!

Aqualecctric LG have modify the dispenser the holes in the top are different .Took a long time though.
