    I met Bob Okines at the last Sibson meeting, I found him a really nice, if somewhat intense individual. His habit of walking around all day with his PDA, etc and all his latest gizmo’s came across as a bit, as we say in these parts, posy. 🙂

    Only yesterday he was waxing lyrical about his ‘infra red thermometer’ and how it ‘impressed the customers’ when he repaired tumble dryers.

    I just don’t have enough hours in the day to try and impress my customers in that way.

    That said, I have just spent the past half hour scanning several pages of WMA22 tech info and mailed it to him, because as I have already said, I did find him interesting, pleasant, polite, and he does often give very good advice on the boards, I just feel like saying, “Bob, sod the Infra Red thermometer, buy the F’ing manual” 😆

    BTW Boro seems a good egg watto credit where its due.

    Ah, but Bob used to work for a MAJOR CARBON BRUSH MOTOR MANUFACTURER (THINK THE CAPS ARE STUCK 😀 ), so like many with a little knowledge, thinks they know everything……..

    He’s pleasant enough from my ealings with him, and at least he says thanks!

    Jealous, the last time I counted we had seven Premiership titles to your three, 😛 and at least I live in the area, all I can see is Spurs supporters in Yorkshire and Ar5e supporters in Wales, nothing in your own patch take your fancy then. 😆

    Excuse me, I was born within 500 yards of White Hart Lane, and Dad is a life long supporter, so a few of my life choices were preselected, shall we say……..

    I still ain’t gonna support Bangor or Rhyl 😛 Id rather watch paint dry or watch cricket if there is a difference 😆
