    My Indesit idl705 runs continuously in the second (rinse) cycle, and will not progress onto the third cycle (wash).
    Any advice gladly welcomed.

    Probably not heating the water?…Is it getting hot?

    im having same headache, stuck on hot rinse and will not get hot. my element is fins and so are thermostats, could be a blockage somewhere

    Thank you for your prompt reply.
    I turned the machine off while it was running continuously in the rinse cycle, I noticed the tablet dispenser had opened and the water was frothy- it was also cold. I shall replace the heater element and hopefully this will resolve the problem.
    PS Replaced the main pump after it was 1 year old, replace the heater element in the 2nd year, what next I wonder? Thanks again.

    The heater element was OK. Could the problem be the thermostat?

    If you let it run does it not show any error codes (lamps flashing) ?
