ParticipantI bought a second hand Beko DWD5410 which worked fine for 4 washes then halted mid program leaving wet dishes/not pumped out.
After resetting the machine the following happens….
Press Start button,
Water flows into machine
Nothing! Just sits there with the Wash light on, doesn’t heat up, doesn’t wash, doesn’t open the powder dispenser.Any help appreciated.
Excellent forum by the way

Anybody? Before I call an engineer…..
Any help appreciated as it sounds like something relatively simple. The machine has only done 5 or 6 cycles so it can’t be build up of deposits or anything like that.
Thanks

Can you check the model number please, BWD5410 or even BDW5410 (tried both) aren’t correct 😉

Hmm, pretty new model then with no technical information on it 🙁
Engineer time I think to be honest..
Check the repairs@ link below 🙂

I placed an engineer call via the repairs@ service but so far no response from the (West Midlands!?) company. I called the Beko Service number which routed through to a Leicester based Company but they could only offer an appointment in June 😯 .
Can anyone recommend a local (Leicester / Market Harborough) company?
Is there a generic “How a dishwasher works” explanation anywhere? I used to be a computer engineer, so not afraid of getting into electro / mechanical devices
PS After inadvertently leaving the machine switched on I noticed that the wash cycle does actually end, although no wash action occurs.

Can you forward the repairs@ email to me please if you don’t get a reply by the end of today. although normally 48 hours should be allowed 🙂

Haynes dishwasher manual, from your local library, nothing online that I am aware of to be honest.

Diagnosed faulty control pcb. On back order with BEKO for about a month now 👿
Ah well, at least it didn’t work long enough for me to get used to not washing up by hand ❗
