ParticipantIve just found that on my DH090 which i got to replace my old Tricity Bendix DH086 that the small blue tibe (to the left of chamber) wont stay down and keeps floating about i have tried the small blue tube from my other machine (dh086) and that is the same keeps floating.
But when i put the tube that keeps floating into my old machine it sits in place and i feel resistance as im pushing the tube down into the chamber, but on the new one i dont feel any resistance as im pushing the tube back in and it keeps floating about.
Would this be my problem, that when the water is entering the tube is floating about and causing the problems. When i fit the big blue tube in it stays down but seems very weak, like you could knock the machine and the tube will float around. It fills up but wont do anything else and stops then as i move timer it does not work only untill it needs to fill again, does not wash attall.
Is this normal? Could the chamber be damaged if say the previous keeper has been poking around to hard thinking it was blocked.
What bad luck im having, Thanks again for any sugestions you have on this one, i hope i dont have to strip the sump part from my old dh086 and fit this into the new machine, what a job.

I think the first thing I would do is clean that whole area out by removing the 2 blue tubes and the smaller black tube and pouring a kettle full of boiling water down where the tubes go. Then remove all the water you have poured into that area. Clean the pressure tubes and reassemble.

Thanks for that, when you say remove all the water, do you mean let the pump drain it out or manually do it.
Do you think this is due to it being not used for several weeks
Thanks

Remove water manually sponge or suck it out with a bit of old tube but get rid of all the water you can see.

Done this but still the same will fill and start to wash and then nothing just stops dead then on opening door it seems water is there and then on closing the door the motor starts and then after a few seconds just stops and then timer stops turning
When i move timer on it is dead for around half a turn then it starts again (on the wash part) then it over fills and starts to spill, then i switch it off and then start it on a new cycle to get the pump to drain the water.
When it starts to fill it does sound like a frige starting up, and this happenend with the old machine (dh086)
Any other help would be great as i have got a tricity bendix dh086 that wont work and now this dh090 surley i can be able to swap some parts over from the other machine (dh086) that i have given up with.
Thanks again for all the help

Can I suggest at this juncture that an engineer is called to look at one if not both of your dishwashers Justin as we seem to be going round in circles giving advice that only appears to bring along new issues 😉
Please don’t take this the wrong way but clearly you are not conversant with how the basic principles of appliances operate, we can only offer so much help and I think enough advice has been offered in all honesty, call an engineer eh before the wife gets really annoyed 😉

Hi Dave, I know what you are saying but i have asked 3 engineers here and one (nw vacs) says he is going on his holidays on monday so dosent want to come out until he gets back in 2 weeks.
The other Domestic appliance service centre said he hates dishwashers and said it would not be worth it (just buy a brand new one) then started showing me some of his new dishwashers!
And the final one said the same dosent really like dishwashers and said it will be £70 just to have a look then parts on top!!! Which i think is ridiculous.
Maybe it will be cheaper just to buy a new one, but it is a joke when nobody wants to come out to it or the one that did is wanting £70 which is £10 more than what i bought it for.
Is £70 normal just for a call out from someone just round the corner.Cheers

This link is to the nationwide service agents for Tricity Bendix, they are best suited to sorting BOTH your problems once and for all!
