    Trying to ID the top weight for this machine for a punter in the public forums.
    On Partfinder the weight is shown with ID number 10 but it does not appear in the parts list, although the fixing bolts and washers do.

    looking at a W123UK I can find a C00064548 top weight that also has the same bolt & washer fixings. It is listed as an 11kg weight. Anyone know if this is the correct one for a WE16SUK, I think the SUK has a 1600 spin. It would surely be better than no weight at all, which this persons machine currently has. 😀

    Machines with cast iron cross pieces don’t seem to fitted with top weights.

    I wondered about that, did a bearing change on one a month ago but darned if I could remember if it had a weight at the top, dementia and all, 😉

    Don’t see why he shouldn’t stick one on though – see how long the suspension springs last 😀 .
