Zanussi Condensor Dryer ZTW0127 916720051/00

Hi,

This is a bit of a vague one.

I’ve just been out the the above machine. The lady said it was doing nothing. It appears that there is no motor action, heating ok, but not turning. No sound.

I took the back off to have a look at the capacitor and found that a small strand of the belt had ripped off from the belt and what seems to have happened is that it has pulled a wire off from somewhere.

The wire is a single pink coloured wire and is inslated. The nearest connection block to the wires is the heater wiring. The square block (for reference sake the FEMALE end), with i think 4 wires in it, one being a link to the next terminal (black). The other end of the block (MALE) only having 3 wires. I cant find a spare terminal anywhere else at the bottom of the machine other than the spare position where the black link wire goes. I just cant remember from past machines if this is how the wiring is.

I tried the capacitor just out of interest but it made no difference, doesnt even buzz.

Like i say, i know i’m being a little vague but until i come across another machine to look at i might never know.

If anybody can give me a little help it would be greatly appreciated.
