Who cares a bugger what they get up to anyway unless it concerns is in the UK I suppose 8)
Sean asked for more ‘local’ news a while back, perhaps we should set that as the criteria?
Why? Worldwide news on the appliance world often has an effect here.
For example the introduction of silver nano machines in Korea from LG and… lo and behold, they appear in the EU market some months later.
Apart from which it’s not just us that read UKW, many manufacturers, insurers and press read it as well to keep up to speed on what’s going on.

I was referring to news of what’s happening in the USA of products and happenings only affecting the USA…….
(e.g. “Whirlpool Corp. wants to wash itself clean of Hoover Co. in North Canton”…..”Whirlpool Corporation has recently announced its decision to expand its Ohio laundry-manufacturing facilities located in Clyde, Sandusky County and in Marion County”)
Unlike our good spread of worldwide news which does indeed relate to what happens here in the UK, our cousins across the pond are in a world of their own…..Sandusky County (wherever that is?) must be thrilled with the news I’m sure…..ya’ here, dang ma britchers, missin’ them already 😆
Perhaps it just me but I couldn’t care less what happens in the USA, it doesn’t affect me. Pity Tony Blair doesn’t share my apathetic view though! 🙁
