This washing machine goes through the startup all LEDs ON check then remains beeping with the 01101000 error code. The diagnostics I have must be out of date for this model. Level 4 diagnostics don’t give LED changes when operating the switches. What do I do next?

Communications error between display board and motor control board. Curiously enough, it can also be caused by a low resistance pump – should read at least 33ohms.
Power off if investigating – there is a permanent live feed to the pump.

Tested the pump, measures 32.8 ohms. Since the front panel buttons and LED’ are responding, I would assume that the comms between the GW4 (software ver 23) display module and the yellow motor control module is OK.
There is 12Vdc to the switches and they are working OK but he LEDs don’t indicate this in LVL4 diagnostics.
LVL 4 shows (00000100), LVL 7 (00000001), LVL 15 (00010111).
The water lvl up/down buttons toggle the med & low LED’s, but the solenoids do not operate.

They are all specifically communications errors – the display board is almost certainly at fault.
Regret we don’t get down to board level much over here, so beyond the obvious – connectors, damp etc, there’s not much more I can suggest.
