Hi, Can anyone advise?
Genration 2000 whirlpool single oven. Fault code has just appeared mid cook. F 02 is now displayed on the LED? Oven now wont work?
Any ideas

Overheating problem – usually the electronics playing up. If you post up the actual model number, we will be able to advise you further.

F02 means the oven is overheating and generally indicates a problem with the control PCB.
Engineer time to be honest to check other possibles as it could prove a costly error should that not be the case.

Hi thanks for all your advice, ive phoned around for quotes and possibilities. All seem to confirm that the PCB board had gone, something like £90 for the board, £70 call out plus labour plus VAT!!!
I’m not knocking anyone, but with no guarantees to fix, I think I’ll opt for a new Oven and send this one to the recycling centre, anyone local to the Coventry Area can have it? 😮
