ParticipantThe machine shows the middle top and middle 3rd button flashing along with the key light.
It starts to run takes water, agitates, takes more water, agitates, then dumps and drain pump keeps running.
Filter is clear. Motor spins ok and drum turns ok. Pressure switch hose blown through ok, and pressure switch clicks ok. pressing the OFF button does not switch off the machine once fault is activated.
It is necessary to unplug the machine to clear the fault. once reconnected the on/off works fine.
Your thoughts please gents!

Are you sure about that model number, is that taken from the rating plate or near the barcode labels on the back?
AVSL 100X not recognised on UK models list that I have. 😕

No, its a french model, its a half depth machine.
Soap door on left, then two rows of buttons with led’s beside them, (for start time delay settings), then the power button and a start button below that and finally on the right a recessable dial for washing setting. bought in france but believed similar available in uk at the time.June 1, 2006 at 5:34 pm #177932iadom

Difficult to ID a comparable UK model, nearest fault codes are lights 1 + 3 flashing F10, pressure switch not sensing.
Could be partial blockage in pressure hose, faulty pressure switch, faulty control module or a combination of these. (plus a few others) The fact that you have to switch off at the mains does suggest a module fault though.
The Indesit electronics used in these machines are renowned for their vagaries, it can often mean a slow and frustrating process of elimination, with the mains plug removed of course. :zap:

Hi, I have checked the pressure switch and the hose and the blow through easy/ click with ease. I had that sinking expensive feeling when
I noticed the unplugging bit. Right, now I need to find a french parts supplier…. Thank you for your time.Is there a UK equivalent model with a time delay start circiut on it? The french have set time bands of cheap electric, hence the delay start programing.
