Water is not dispensing into ice tray.The chilled water dispenser works ok.
Checked to see if there is a supply voltage(I believe it should be 240v ) to ice maker water valve,but there is not.The test button on the ice maker allows full rotation back and forwards of ice tray
,but water will not dispense into tray.
I thought that perhaps the freezer had to get back down to temperature before water would dispense into ice tray,but phoned up customer ,after leaving it for a few hours and although freezer temperature was ok,still no water in tray.
when I first arrived customer had been messing about with it and ice maker was switched off at panel,but I think this was only because they had been messing about with it after it had stopped working.I have reset to cubed ice function but still no water.HELP!!!!!!you will only get a few seconds of fill time.should be 240v for a few seconds.
Often cause could be heater failure on water feed pipe as it enters ice maker assembly.If no feed at all to valve all i can say is to replace the main pcb at rear.
had this problem before changed pcb and still problem was there only though was then wiring fault a lovely scrapper but it was a brand new one.
