Hello,
We have a Servis M7054 s/n 993711347 fridge freezer in our rented flat. The interior light doesn’t work, I’m fairly sure that it’s the switch. But also the compressor never switches off.
The inside of the fridge seems to be around the correct temperature, the freezer has already showing heavy frosting and ice build up on the elements after only 2 weeks of being switched on.
Any ideas what the problem is and are the two issues related?Thanks in advance.

I’m afraid it sounds like a system problem if the compressor is running constantly. The lamp not working is unrelated.
Not an economical repair to be honest if it is, only an engineer with the relevent refrigeration test equipment will be able to tell 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. If you need one, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

You might wanna look at this thread.
Sounds like you have asimilar fault to mine…. a refrigetrant gas leak… (but I’m no expert!!! )
