ParticipantHi
Over the last week or so the above cooker has been playing up. I can turn the oven on and set the temp to say 180 and it would appear to warm up inside but not heating to the set temp. Could this be a problem with the fan element. Thanks
😕

Last Neb I saw had a fan, but no fan element – it had an element under the floor, and used the outer part of the grill element to heat the oven. If yours is the same you will have lost one of the elements – difficult to be exact without the model number………

Thanks for this, do you know where I might find the model number as all I have is the model name, Venezia.

The Venezia has as Penguin suggest a base and an upper element. One of those will have failed I would think, probably the base one.
Power off when checking please :zap:

If there is no rating plate on the oven surround, it will almost certainly be on the body of the oven itself – this entails removing the oven from the housing.
If it’s coming out, the element can be visuallly inspected for breaks, blow holes or fizzing. If it looks ok, a test meter will be required to check the impedence.
Power off, of course and mind the panel edges – very often unfinished metal.

ParticipantI have found what I believe to be the model number, FE8622EX. Do you know if it is still possible to source a replacement element as I understand NEB no longer around. Thanks

NEB are still going – spares are a bit slow, compounded by the parts wizard being off this week. Bear with and we’ll find you something.
Did you have a look at the base element when you had it out?

ParticipantThanks Penguin. I didn’t need to take it out in the end as the label was behind the door. If I get chance to take it out this weekend how do access the base element to check it.

We can’t tell you exxactly how to repair your appliance for legal reasons I’m afraid.
Suffice to say it has to come out of the housing and it’s a screwdriver job from there 😉

ParticipantHi Guys
I have now managed to get the bottom element out of the oven and it would appear burnt out near one of the spades. Are you able to supply me with a replacement, the element code I think it NEB01.
Thanks
Scott
