Hotpoint-Ariston’s 48 cm oven acclaimed at the Grand Design Live in London
Fabriano, 4th July 2007 ““ Indesit Company has won for the second year running a “Best Technology Award” at the Grand Designs Live in London. Hotpoint-Ariston’s new 48 cm oven, designed by Makio Hasuike, received a Grand Designs Magazine award in the “Technology for the home” category in recognition of its new technology for domestic applications.
The prestigious awards, set up in 2005, are given to products with outstanding technology and innovation during the Grand Designs Live in London, the most important design and innovation expo for operators in the world of home furnishing.
The panel of experts looked at thousands of candidates and finally chose Indesit Company ahead of the other five finalists in the category because of its architectural lightness and advanced performance characteristics, its minimalist, avant-garde style (flat and squarish lines and elegant linear shapes) and its feeling for recent trends in kitchen design.
Innovation, meaning the research and creation of new ideas, products, processes and forms, has always been a strategic priority at Indesit Company and one of the main factors in its success, as also testified by the numerous awards won over the years, from the Indesit Moon washing machine’s “Grand Prix de l’Innovation” this year to the Ecohitech Award taken in 2006 by the Aqualtis washing machine and the Plus X Awards won by the Experience fridge and oven at the 2005 Home Innovation Awards for technological innovation and respect for the environment.
