Hi all, would greatly appreciate any assistance. I’ve got a Tricity Bendix fitted oven (model 949710936) approx 5 years old. The oven is completely dead – no light, grill, heat etc. The fuse in the main box is ok and all obvious connections no problem. Seperate hob on same wiring works fine. Before I remove the oven i’d appreciate any thoughts on possible problems. Many thanks.

    Hi
If it has a clock make sure it is set and in the manual (hand symbol) setting.
Failing that it may be the thermal cut out that has been activated.

Not being familiar with oven, thought I would just give you some pointers.
Power off when investigating the thermal protection stat. :plug:

Many thanks for fast post back Greg. I’ll check out the thermal cut out. Certainly sounds like it could fit the bill.
    John.
