    Hi All,
    I have a problem with my Smartdrive 703.
    Every time it gets to the rinse cycle it starts to pump water out then makes a brief whiring sound (while it spins the drum up very slowly), then it stops and beeps with what the users guide calls a “Suds build up problem”
    There also sometime seems to be a slight hot electrical smell to it at this time.
    Following some other threads on this forum (which is superb btw) I managed to get it into Diag mode. These are the full codes I get.

    I hope I’ve understood the codes correctly.

    Too much information………. Just level 3 would have done 😆 .

    The problem is almost certainly the pump – a partial blockage, or the pump itself overheating. It’s a twist fit from underneath. Drain all water from the machine first (hose in bucket). Be advised that there is a permanent live feed to the pump as long as the machine is plugged in – so make sure the plug’s out.

    Thanks Penguin45 !.
    Bought a new pump for it today ($72.50AUD)
    Works like new !
    Hopefully I’ll get another 9 yrs out of it now.
