Beko model WM1210 motor no.2404840100 tacho magnet broken off and half of it mysteriously disappeared despite being enclosed in with plastic cover 😕
Anyway seems like the thing is a friction fit and doubtful that it would be available as a spare.Tried Connect and Seme.
Fortunately I have a s/h motor in stock. Just seems a shame to throw away what is otherwise a perfectly good motor.
Anyone else come across this? Also sets me pondering – what’s the tacho magnet like on ISE?

Unlikely to be a problem and easily accessed……!

    Thanks, Martin.
I’d like to see what’s under that plastic cover. The rear end of “your” motor looks 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} the same as “mine”. Only difference is in the area where it locates to the plastic drum. End frame mouldings, tacho/cover/wiring all look identical.
Is the motor made by Arcelik? As for access that wasn’t any problem on the Beko either.
Anybody got any ideas how I could fix this motor – hate throwing good stuff into the metal recycling bin.
    Mike.

I’ve got a few spare magnets for tachos that look similar to this. if you can email me a photo of the tacho coil and the part of the magnet that’s left I’ll see if I can find one. I’ll pm you my email address.
