ParticipantI appear to have something metalic stuck between the drums which makes a fearful racket when on fast spin. What’s the best way to try and get it out?

KeymasterHi,
No easy answers to that one I’m afraid. Obviously the first thing to do is to get the power off before you go near it.
The only routes into the tub is through the heater and through the sump hose. Beyond that it’s a total stripdown to get in there I’m afraid and that’s not a two minute job.
Can’t help much further, nor can anyone else without a pukka model number.

Sorry about not supplying the model number, I thought the Easi Logic 1500 bit was it.
On the sticky label inside the door it says Servis M6050W, hopefully that’s it.
Looking forward to hearing again.
Many thanks

Bargainhunter? I suppose that’s why you bought a Servis? 😛 Sorry!
Are you sure that the drum support/bearings are ok? Open the door. Is there lateral movement on the inner drum, within the outer tub?

Thanks for the info. Had a look at the drum, no significant movement as far as I can tell. Just did a test spin and all went smoothly and quietly until suddenly it was if someone had throw some nuts and bolts in the drum. After a few seconds of this all went quiet again and it finished the spin without incident.
Good or bad news?
Thanks again.

The total stripdown bit involves removing the back panel and inner drum. How brave are you?
