I had one on for knocking badly all I could find was motor fixed with two mounts and rocking! I could not see any other fixing for it, as I have no knowledge of this machine help would be appreciated.

The motor slides on a odd weak looking spring arrangment, not normaly causes a problem though. Watch out for a split chassis, often a cause of noises and also worn out pump pulleys.

Thanks for the reply I could not see how motor worked as it was in a very difficult place and thought I would get advice first, I did try it on spin with no load but of course very quite, the customer is adamant that it is the drum, and when you push it over it stays there not like the old Hotpoints but all the springs seem ok, this appliance is two years old.

    Thanks Kirk

That sounds pretty normal. carefully check that chassis for splits, pretty much a write off if you find one though. The belt, by the way is underneath! suppose it could be a frayed one but that would show up empty i guess.

You can order the snubber and spring kit, but this now comes with the base, unless you order the snubber and new springs seperately.

Check inside if there is lots of plastic shavings formed in the base (corn starch is normal)

Usually if the drum stays it shows a good snubber. But this would cause drum banging.

These are machines you really need to know, if you dont find a resolve PM me and I will let you know who is in the area who knows the machine.
