    Hi
I suppose you’ve been asked this question tons of time but Ive looked through this forum and cant find out what I need to know.

I hoover fridge/ freezer has just broken down on me. I know its not salvageable.

The problem is that I may have access to around £350. We do need a quite a large freezer and im not bothered about digital interfaces etc as log as the fridge is reliable and would last.

Could you let me know if non-frost free freezers are okay to get – because they seem a lot cheaper

Which brands i wouldnt touch hoover with a barge pole and I know meile is pretty good but out my price range. Are there any other brands that would be fine i.e. Samsung, Whirlpool, Hotpoint or any other names you can think of??

    Hope you can assist

Yep they are fine and much more reliable IMO than the frost free models.

As far as brands are concerned I would agree with Hotpoint and Whirlpool but leave Samsung alone 😉 . For 350 gold nuggets I would look at the Bosch range which I think are the next best thing after Miele. They also come with a two year guarantee as standard. Any local retailer in your`e area should be able to advise and offer the best service.
