    hi

i just got a new machine a Hotpoint Aquarius WF740p
after my last one finally broken down after 21 years of service so i cant complain.

i use to keep my old one switched on all the time.

this one is fancy with lights etc, whats best leave it turned on at the machine or on and off when not in use?

Always the best option, switching off stands for safety and security. Modern electronic machines are very sensitive to things like ‘power surges’ as a result of electrical storms. So if your machine (and other gadgets for that matter) is switched off, it’s less likely to be affected. 🙂

    Hi Shirl

To protect the electronics in the machine, I would recommend switching it off using the on/off button when not in use.
