‘Ello, one of our engineers went to look at a Bosch dishwasher today, the details he’s pulled from the machine are

    Bosch Exxcel Auto 3in1
    S.No. 5600041012/04/299/15.20

I’m guessing it may be Excel not Exxcel. Anyway, the LHS and RHS hinges have broken along with the retainers, door springs and plastic bushes. Tried our local domestic company and he said the name and serial number aren’t right, should be letters before the serial number but our engineer swears blind what he wrote down is what was there. Could anybody shed some light on the situation? Part numbers and prices would be nice, or was our local domestic firm correct in saying there isn’t enough detail?

    Cheers.

    Hi
Nothing like a Bosch model number. They usually start “S” ending in /??

I used to have engineers like that, get him a magnifying glass. I bet the ’56’ is actually ‘SG’ but send him back, in his own time, to get it right.

For many years Bosch, neff and Siemens and more recently on Gaggenau machines, have used an E nr. number which is same as a serial number. They always begin with Enr. Bosch use three leters say SGS then some numbers then usually another two letters say GB then a / then two more numbers. eg Enr. SGS 4102GB/01
Neff use a Single letter to start and Siemens two letters to start then they use a very similar series of numbers and letters as Bosch.
Its also worth getting the first 4 numbers after the FD.
