KeymasterIt’s like this,
We need to start another company to run the network, one that has us as the major share holders (ie 51{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}) or even (49{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}).
However we do it, if the company is ever “bought out” it does not effect UKW.
As well as protecting our own investment, we have also to introduce the cooperative idea of giving agents a stack in the network.
Just my thought here is that it needs thinking through, before we need to call a meeting of interested parties to thrash out the details.
Just have thoughts on the whole project….. as the network takes shape we need to have a script.
I reckon we have a month to think about it.

Someone needs to fill me in on this as the “project” was started whan I was away, the obvious all make sense but if there’s things I need to know (the shares thing) please let me know as I’m a little in the dark on this one.
Cheers.
Dave.

KeymasterDave, we’ll get a decent chat on Monday or Tuesday once the dust settles and we’re fully staffed. You got the gist of it anyways pretty much.

KeymasterRe: Our network company shares
this is the second time I started this……..
Ok, we issue 2 different shares in the company;
A Shares which carry 10 votes per share
B Shares which carry 1 vote per share
This is legal.
Therefore at a face value of £0.50 we issue 250,000 shares.
If 100,000 are A shares, and we (4 of us) have each 10,000 ( 4 x £5,000) that leaves 60,000 to sell off, 6 lots of 10,000 to interested investors. One of which could be UKW, giving us 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. These will be the controlling shares.
The other 150,000 we sell off to each agent in blocks of 200, at £0.50 each, these of course are B shares and carry 1 vote each.
All shares carry the same dividend rights.
Therefore if we sell them all, we raise £125,000 to run the network, or we double the B shares figure to raise a total of £200,000.
I’ll do a little market reasearch on the figure.
thoughts?
