ParticipantHi everyone,
Great website, lots of useful info here, but I can find a solution to my problem:
I’ve had a Zanussi FLE1216 W (aquacycle 1200) for about 4 years now and it’s been brilliant. Last Sunday we moved it into a different room to decorate the room it was in. We’ve just put it back and re-attached the pipes and plugged it back in. When I turn it on, nothing happens for about 5 seconds then it beeps continuously (the only light that is in is the on/off light above the on/off button). I can’t find anything in the manual about this, and at no point during it being moved was it dropped or bashed.
Has it ‘had it’? Is 4 years a good life for one of these?
Thanks very much in advance,
Dave.

Hi
Have you checked for kinked water hoses and made sure that the fill taps are really turned on, as the plastic taps crack but give the indication that they have turned.Greg

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked and the inlet hose isn’t kinked (cold fill only) and also that the fill tap is on (I’ve also tried it in another tap and the same thing happens).
I did manage to get it to act normally after turning on once (I didn’t do anything other than turn it on after leaving it for an hour or so), but I turned it off and back on again to check and it’s gone back to what it was doing before.
Thanks again for your reply.

Have you tried shutting door with a bit more force with palm of hand level with door catch, incase interlock playing up?

Hi,
I tried that but as it was beeping without even having started trying to do a wash, it didn’t really do anything.
It’s now just started working again and has completed a wash – I’m not sure why! Maybe it just needed to be left to settle for a while after being moved.
Thanks for all your help, very much appreciated.
